Betsy Annen

Betsy Annen is the Global Head of Ads Ecosystem and Safety at Google, where she drives initiatives to ensure a healthy and secure advertising environment worldwide. Currently based within the Public Policy teams, she holds a front-row seat to understanding and preparing for key regulatory challenges. Her perspective is uniquely shaped by a career spanning multiple critical roles in technology and regulation. At Google, she has led the AdTech business (Google Marketing Platforms) in France, overseen the Privacy, Data & Measurement specialists team focused on critical privacy initiatives, and spent years working directly with large advertisers to craft long-term marketing strategies. Prior to her time in tech, Betsy leveraged her deep expertise in regulation, strategy, and portfolio management over a decade-long career in the Energy sector.
